Privacy & data

What we do with your data.

The short version: we collect as little as possible, use it only to send your audit, and never sell it. The plain-language detail is below.

We collect
Your domain, your email, and any message you send. That’s it.
We never ask for
Logins, passwords, ad accounts, feed access, or customer data.
We never sell
Your details are not shared, resold, or fed to advertising tools.

What we collect

For a Step 1 audit, we collect the website domain and business email you enter. If you use the contact form, we also keep your name and message. We do not use tracking cookies, and we don’t build advertising profiles.

How we use it

We use your domain to run the audit and your email to send the report plus, at most, one short follow-up. We may keep anonymized, aggregate findings (for example, “X% of sites block a crawler”) to share publicly — never anything that identifies you or your business.

What we look at during an audit

Step 1 only examines information that is already public: your website’s pages, robots.txt, structured data, and what AI tools return for a category query. We do not access anything gated, private, or behind a login.

Who can see your data

Only the people running this research project. We don’t sell, rent, or share your details with third parties for marketing. Basic infrastructure providers (like our email service) process data on our behalf under their own terms.

How long we keep it

We keep your contact details only as long as needed to deliver and follow up on your audit. Ask us to delete them at any time and we will remove everything we hold about you.

Your choices

You can decline the follow-up email, request a copy of what we hold, or ask for deletion — just reply to any message from us or email info@shelfable.ai.

Questions, or want your data removed?

Email us and we’ll delete everything we hold about you, no questions asked.
